Benefit-Azure Case Study
Our Key Challenge
Coming from a legacy network, this was the customers’ first experience with the cloud infrastructure.
A key challenge was making sure the customer fully understood the changes that came with the transition to the cloud. It was important for them to comprehend moving from manual processes to automated workflows.
Our Pathway to a Solution
Step 1
The customer was interested in exploring Microsoft Azure as the ideal cloud destination for their digital transformation needs but was lacking the exposure to cloud infrastructure as a whole. Thus, Armature Systems was brought in as their trusted technology advisor to implement the infrastructure project.
Step 2
Armature Systems helped them understand business needs as well as define use-cases and traffic flows to formulate a resilient and highly available solution while keeping security top of mind.
Step 3
Given the customer’s small team restrictions, it was critical to consider operational complexity and an automated workflow to help reduce overhead.
Step 4
The customer was also concerned about uptime of services and seamless migration as the applications were mission-critical. Armature systems considered to implement a phased approach and internaconnect their existing on-prem infrastructure with Azure Cloud using dynamic routing for automatic failover.
Step 5
With the help of the customer, Armature Systems formulated a test plan and fully vetted the solution before moving to production.
Step 6
As closing remarks, Armature Systems provided training as part of the knowledge transfer and successfully closed out the project by fully migrating on prem-services to public cloud infrastructure.
Legacy to Cloud Migration
Using the Public Cloud
Through the migration to the cloud, we helped the customer’s IT team run more lean as it offloaded their computer storage and also gave them the option to start automating workflows given their smaller team.
Highlight Solution
We successfully migrated their legacy infrastructure to Azure public cloud using the Zero Trust approach by introducing Inbound, Outbound, and East/West traffic inspection, resiliency and scalability in mind.
